hey guys what do you do to beef up the hitch receiver on the trucks?

Usually you would want to put some braces going to the center of the cross tube where your hitch slides into the receiver. This will keep it from bending back, which is usually what happens. Also putting a piece of angle iron across the top of the cross tube will keep it from twistin down, which most hitches will end up doing. Good luck.

Post some picture of what you got and we can go from there! Wayne and i have found that factory hitches just dont have the back bone to hold up the the beating of sled pulling! Look into a brand called Superhitch!

i pulled for one season on a stock receiver and never broke it, then beefed it up and added alot more power/traction and have not had an issue.
