Lots of fun. Didn't get home until 5:15 am. We took 5 trucks to pull and 4 trailers. Before leaving we replaced one bad tire on one of the trailers. On the way down about half way one of the tow trucks CJ's (ford):damnit blew a high pressure oil pump O ring. Took about 10 gollons of oil to get it the rest of the way. It was pulling Leons dodge so Leon drove the rest of the way. Then Nikos trailer pulled by JR blew one tire then another tire. Then Kens trailer pulling Chad blew a tire. We get there finally and I'm on the line for my first pull spooling and broke an axle. When we were leaving Ken left about 30 minutes ahead of me and JR I get a call and his (ford):damnit engine light came on, head lights are going dim and low on fuel at about 2:50am nothing is open this part of the country. Calls back side of the road in La Belle out of fuel. We get there transfer fuel and batteries from the trailered truck into the tow rig. CJ was still there when we left and tring to get his truck towed to Keiths house. The trailer was left to the indians. The red dodge from Ft Myers won the 2.6 class it had the only full pull. Ken won the stock class. The indians had there own class of heavy trucks.

Sounds like a long and frustrating day:damnit. Glad you guys got back eventually. How was the track?

#1-Hate to hear about the troubles. Breaking sucks on the track but I really hate to have a trailer or towing truck trouble. Hope it's minor stuff.

After I posted the above I got a call from CJ still at Keiths broke and unable to fix his truck. The trailer was still at Big Cypress. So I left my house Sunday afternoon at 5:15pm, went back to Miami got the trailer went to keiths loaded CJ and got home last night at 1:30 am.

ya. no overdrive might pose as a problem. I'm sure it doesnt help the fuel milage either:cool:

Sorry to hear about all the problems. Sounds like an expensive trip. Kind of like the last time we went to Ft Myers. I hope you were able to at least have some fun while you were there.
