I've been wanting to put my truck on a Dyno for a while now but I don't know of any close to the Sarasota area.

IMO your best bet is to wait until you can get on Dunbar's, or travel into Ga. and get it on the rollers. this way you would atleast know that you are comparing apples to apples, since in my experience dyno's vary so greatly by brand and by operator.

There is 1 in Sarasota but dynoing diesels is a little different then ricers. I do not know how it stacks up compared to David's. There is one in Tampa I'm gonna roll when I get back from M/A. I'll have at least an idea of what it should be.

x2 the dyno i got on sayed i had 350 hp but i smoked the tires on the dyno threw 3rd gear no BS. After talking to a couple guys they said thats where all my HP went. The guy also sayed he loaded it 10,000 pounds. I dont no what he was smoking because it was deffantly not loaded. OD loaded the truck harder then his 10,000 pounds did. Just make sure u take it to someone that knows what there doing like Dunbar.

Man it would be cool to get Dunbar down to an event here. I'm pretty sure it's about $1500 per day or 20 trucks @ $75 each. I think if you go truck wise if you are short the event makes up the diference. Dave Dunbar is a great guy. What's really cool is if you did a T & T on friday? I believe the fee is $100 per hour, that's a bunch of tuning time. Maybe we could convince Wayne to start a "Smokin in Florida " event

Kurt a dyno run for our trucks should only be a 4th gear pull(75mph thru 110mph?). If they were hammering your truck in 1, 2 & 3 you should have asked for a refund

As soon as I get a set of stock wheels and tires I am going to run the old mule on a local dyno! Should be pushing around 206.3hp (estimated by rounding up) to the rears... we'll see.

I dont know, you might be able to get 206.5 if you get lucky. :D
