I pulled the truck on Friday night. I pulled 247.8 feet with what is listed in my sig. I could have gone farther I think, but I didn't put the throttle to the floor because I didn't want to start hopping.

All in All I was pleased with the results, I got 30th out of 50 trucks. Here is the kicker though, I didn't like the way they had the classes split up. They had a 6,500 lb. class and a 8,000 lb. class. Since my truck is a rather large, I weighed in at 7,400 lbs. and pulled in the 8,000 class against trucks that usually run the 2.8 class.

Congrats on your first hook.:D I'm sure you enjoyed it? Did it start hopping, so you let off the throttle a little bit? Also, do you have any videos?

I will post the vid when I get home this weekend. The truck hooked to the track great, but I just wanted to make sure I didn't break anything. The front started hopping a little bit off the line, but cleared up mid track.

You should have been able to add wieght to make the 8K lb. class on the nose. Obviously every truck weighs something different, so everyone is going to either add weight to make the next heavy class, or take weight away to drop a class.

Congrats on your first hook!
