What sled you using?

Keiths sled , scales ,etc.... Track is about 30 miles east of the town of okeechobee. The old moroso drag strip/motorsports park

I'm in the same boat with the schedule as always :( Calender gets filled at camp at I just can't get off. 10/9 there will be 400-450 people here.
I scheduled to go to Zellwood but I'm having parts made to fix the front end problem. After watching videos, it seems the passenger side is not always pulling :mad: We have the solution, the part is being machined.

Hope to have a good turn out. We are doing alot of advertising over here in west palm for the pull . Hope to see alot of diesels

From what I know Moroso has a new owner. The track is suppost to be 300' clay. Keith is going over this week to see it. Dont know who is or has built it. I would assume concessions would be done in house. Just fix your truck and come play.:D

Im hoping to make it over for this one but I need to find a trailer to ride on. Dont wanna break that far from the house! Sounds like fun though... :)

Thanks Todd, the ole girl is running good and the track was definetly a Bogger track. Especially since they make us run after all the gas trucks chew it up! :o

x2!!! I was looking under my truck Sunday and then watched the videos to confirm... My rear wheels were running in ruts up to the bottom of my rims! Not to mention the 80lbs of dirt I washed off from under the truck... It was still fun though!

How far from Sarasota is this?

Well its about 40 - miles east of the town of okeechobee. Donot know the miles but it is 1 1/2 hours south east of sebring.

Track update : Sorry guys no photos yet but should have some this weekend. They have started to build the track ..300 feet + long and 45 feet wide. Also they are doing alot of advertising over here in the west palm beach area. Should be alot of new trucks

The track is built complete. They were installing more lighting today . I will post some photos by this weekend. Did not have camera with me earlier and i will be in the hospital/ having surgery tomorow and thursday. The track is hard like a shell rock road !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - but not shellrock :). Hope to see everybody there. Thanks , hal

Also i almost forgot . Very important. The pulls start at 4pm gates open at 12 noon. They are expecting a large turn out so they want to start a little earlier .thanks , hal

Someone asked on another site, "how big is this pull going to be". Don't know, guess it depends on how many trucks come from the east coast of Florida. West coast is coming :stir:.

Wonder if they are gonna mix it up and Pull the Diesels in between some of the Gas trucks? I sure hope so... Lots of people coming to see both and it sucks to see the same trucks pull over and over and make one wait till Midnight.

The diesels will not be last. I am pretty sure they will be the 2nd class pulled

I just added distance.:juggle:

It was run very well and one of the best pull events I've attended! Track was nice and we had a good announcer keeping the fans in the action. Track was good and got better after every pull. My first pull was around 341ft then my Flex Plate gave up in the pull off. Still had fun!!!

Hal, thanks for introducing yourself we are all out there for the same reason. We love trucks and horse power. We are lucky to be able to enjoy a hobby like this and the only way it will grow is if we share the same goals and communicate with eachother.

Congrats to Big Ken Miller and Mike for bringing it home to the West Coast!!!

Cant wait for the next one!
