I am probably going to pull for the first time on the 10th. I have a Georend Billet tranny with a lock up switch. Does anybody pull using the converter locked up? Will this break stuff, help or hurt?

Sorry, 2004.5 CTD QC LB 3500 SRW, Goerend tranny, Glacier LP w/big line kit, Edge Juice "hot", Edge EZ, Airaide intake, kitty MIA, Quad LP/RP gauge. Lifted, but will be pulling on stock BFG's

I had that set up. Just put it in 4 lo and put shifter in "D". Let it shift itself. Spool hard before letting off brake gradually. Once moving forward 3-5 feet let off the brake and hold your lock up switch until sled has you almost stopped.

do you think he has enought fuel or air for the lockup to hurt or help mike??????? think about it. sometimes its a good thing but on a stock truck locking too soon or in the wrong gear could hurt you, expecially with big tires . i would say try it round one and if it dosent come out good you always got another chance to make the pull offs. just my ideas..........

Well I will actually be pulling with stock size tires on and I am right close to 500 rwhp on the stock injectors and stock turbo. I have never pulled full throttle pulls like this so I don't know if I will be able to maintain enough r/p for the full pull.

It got rain delayed to the following weekend and I already had a trip to Kentucky planned so I didn't get to pull. Hopefully next time something is close I will get to pull.

I had the same motor mods you do at one time and i can tell you the stock cp3 cant hold the pressure to keep her crankin 500 hp for the full length of the track. As the rail pressure drops your EGTs are gonna go up and rpms are gonna drop!!! Keep a watch full eye!
