Just wondering, has any one seen EGT drops from the headers that are being put on these trucks? If so, from what? Better flow? More pipe to displace the heat?

Thanks, Brent:D

Keith(Nastygirl) did mention lower EGT's right away last year when they were put on @ Spring Fling. Why I'd guess all of the above

There all several opinions as to why. I like to think it's simply the reduced back pressure. (Better Flow.;))

I do know that they can eventually heat soak. It doesn't happen under normal circustances, but when it does the EGT's do rise a little, but they are still quite a bit better then oem components.

I'd guess they heatsoak a little sooner then stock but should also cool faster then stock

when we put our header on our 92 dodge we noticed a egt drop under crusings speeds but its kind of hard to tell at wot because it buried the egt gauge with stock and it still does with the header! i guess we just got to get a gauge that reads higher!:)

how much did it lower at cruising?

That seems to be about the norm with the Dmax too.
