Well when i pulled i wanted a very aggressive tire for fort myers and wauchulla and then again on some tracks i used a not so aggressive tire. In my thoughts it all depends on the track that you are at. as most of the pullers know that are tracks are some times pretty muddy. well i loved useing my boggers at most tracks that or my baja claws.

I thought about Baja Claws but I'm going a different route. My boggers are staying & I'm gonna get a less agressive for the other tracks. Our tracks are getting better & better. My truck loves my boggers

June 7th in Zellwood clay track outside more than likely there will be no rain for a few days before the pull. With the track in hot sun all day, I think the track MAY be hard and dry. Just a gamble though. I'm going with all terrains all the way around for the first time since Cleweston. Normally when I get to the track my gamble is off, so dont listen to me.

I love BFG A/T's (best all around tire IMHO) but we are coming into the rainy season and the tracks may end up stickier with an afternoon shower. I picked these up yesterday...

Then you would be hooking all that fluger power to the ground

I picked up a mix matched used set of mud tires and run BFG MTs on the front and Interco Trxus MTs on the rear, 285/75s all around. I've only gotten to pull on them once and had rail pressure issues at the time, but last weekend I let a customer borrow them and on the way to the pull I wrote my first LBZ tune from scratch. He pulled out a full pull then went on to win the pull-off. It was hirst first time ever pulling and my first LBZ tune - all stock except exhaust, built trans and tune, no lift pump, no aftermarket lockers, and nothing under the hood has been touched. He weighed in at 7700 lbs in a 8500 lb class and those tires just grabbed that track awesome.

I'll most definately be running Super Swamper STS regardless of what the track conditions. i've seen them hook up good on every type of track - so hard they left black marks, pebbley, sandy, wet and muddy, powdery, etc.. Success with them is all in truck setup and air pressures but they are super versitile and hook up phenominally IMO. I'm sold. :D

i was hoping to run some 39.5x15 Trxus STS tires use a 4in lift with a 3in body and some cut outs. but it seems that those are a little to large to run at most tracks.
