There's a direct relationship between fun and hard on equipment.. :D With a good tranny, most should be fine.. I'm going to make it even if it's just with my tow rig..

I was just messing with Dave, my real issue is trurning around the truck to put it in pulling form again :D I love to drag race, I'm sure I have well over 1000 passes.

For 10 years I was at the track at least 4 nights per week....some weeks it was 7 nights per week. I'm sure multiple tons of carnage :eek: :D

Damn, I just did the math :eek: I should have said I probably have over 10,000 passes. I didn't have much of a life back then BUT boy was it fun :D

& the damn track is way closer...go figure I can't afford to build the car I want & the truck is too slow. 12's was soooo 70's for me :D

12's ain't that slow. I remember my first pass down Desoto Speedway (1974)
It was in a 1965 VW Bettle with a built motor. I went 15.35@91 mph.
I have a least 1000 passes down that track (probably more). I have gone a 8.76 on my 1300cc Kawasaki with a little help from N20 and that was back in 1989. That was crazy fast back then.
I have driven at least 30 vehicles there.


I have to say that the most fun ever, was running 11's in a 7,000 lb diesel truck that I drove to the track. That's the ****e that killed Elvis.

i remember you driving that truck to the track and running 11's. I was in my dually. And....if it wasnt almost 4seconds slower, i think i could have beat you that day :D Im happy with 12's. Of course....11's and 10's would be sweet but thats big money or atleast having another vehicle to drive when it breaks down!
