: Dually Class

I know a lot of the sanctions up North won't let Dually's pull in the SRW classes.

Should we consider a class, for Dually's?

We could make it a 9,000 lb class. I'll bet we could get 5 or 6 trucks to pull.

I'm game.

I'm game, we all know that a dually against a SRW truck is an unfair advantage for the SRW :p :D

If you can win with 4 wheels pulling, you should be unstopable with 6.

Mike does real well with his dually, If we have a seperate class then we can take any advantage of the 6 vs.4 out of the equation.

I can't wait to pull with the 4-tire trucks.

Oh ****, now I've started something...................my stock, old , worn-out truck ain't got nothing for the seasoned pullers.

At least I'll know what it like to get no money at the end of the night.

Well I don't trash talk. FYI the 12th is a non points, screw around event so what's your point?
Are we betting cash or just trash talking?
I could take this pull serious if there's cash involved :D Winner take all maybe? Any side wagers or all talk?h

I really didn't see any trash talking either.

I've heard for the last year or so about all these bad ass Dodges that were coming out to show the Duramaxes how to pull. So far it's been a "no show".

With all due respect, The trash talking has been going on for ever and it's been coming from the other camp.
I became bored with all the "no show" bad ass trucks that never showed up. I sold my truck to a guy up North who might find some competition. It ain't here.

I hope that everyone that's building a truck, put's together a winning combo.

This is not a bash post on any brand. I just think people are tired of all these threat's of bad ass trucks coming out and we see the same "non-full pullers"

I really enjoy hanging out with all the pullers and it's great to have some bantering back and forth.

Let's just stop and do a reality check once and a while.

If dual rear wheels is where its at then why don't SRW truck bolt them on?
All the testing and tuning going on if this is an advantage then it should be a add on to pulling trucks. Don't add classes to our already small classes just build what it takes to win. My truck is normally the only dually pulling and I'm not the points leader.:nono:

Gotta change rear ends to do it properly without spacers. If I was pulling an 05 Dodge SRW , Exactly like yours & getting beat then maybe but I think the testing will reveal none conclusive data. There are several factors involved. I know more pullers that have gone from DRW to SRW then the other way AND I'm sure Steve was just messin with you Mike :p

Let's get back to the important issues in this thread......side bets  :D
My money is on B & B...any takers?

Hope you enjoyed your weekend. :)

Again, with all due respect.

It would be very interesting to see how a Dually would pull with single rear wheels. Same truck duals Vs. Singles.

I think there could be something to this, because the sanctions up north have a problem with Dually's pulling in the SRW classes.
Could be some kind of advantage? I'm not for sure why they have this rule, but it must be something that has been contemplated.

BTW I'm always messing with people and it is all in fun....Nothing personal.

I could run Duals here but other places say you can NOT change Width or wheelbase. There may be something to it but there are may factors. The biggest problem is getting 2 vehicles the same to test, Ask IROC :D

I know there has been some talk at a few places up north about the DRW vs SRW trucks but most places allow both to run together. The places that have tried to seperate the two have been blasted for it. Most guys running want to have the option on there set up. If dual wheel trucks always beat the srw trucks on a regular basis then there might be something about it but like all pulling some tracks like it and some dont. Its just another set up option. See you in July.

that hasn't been a rule here in at least 5 years and probably even longer than that. That's just an old one that hasn't gone away for some.

Like someone said, I think the duals have their benefits depending on track conditions. It's hard to argue that more traction is gonna hurt if you are in the game to put the most power to the ground the most effective way? That is what we are all trying to do isn't it? Some make more power but don't get it down as good as others. If you can setup your entire truck to run with the added traction effectively, I can't see where more traction is a problem. It has to be a complete system all working together though.
