: Who will "dominate"?
MoPower05 07-02-2008, 08:32 AM July 12th is coming and I hear lots of talk with the word dominate in it:eek:. So what I want to know is who will dominate on the 12th of July at the 2nd annual ALL DIESEL PULL:scared:. Will it be a ford w/powerstoke? dodge w/cummins:heh:? or possible even a gmc or chevy w/duramax :flypig:? Who will have the most trucks near the top? Will it be the B&B team, Niko team, GDP team, team Fluger, Cope Custom team, or an independent?
If you want to talk about how good your truck or someone else is this is now the offical place for smack talk. This thread will close :closed_2:in July with the results posted last and only will be here to read. So bring it:D.
TNRGreene 07-02-2008, 08:45 AM I just can't get excited about this especially now :(
Freighttrain 07-02-2008, 09:47 AM All I have to go on is, who has dominated all year, so far:D

i think mike was top in points untill we went to fountain florida for a event . he missed one of kieths pulls and it took that for a duramax to take the lead. so she got 20 points for winning that pull which just put them 6 points ahead . now who dominates?
G D P 07-02-2008, 07:29 PM Well its definately not gonna be a Ford:pound:
you just never know? what makes you think it will be a duramax? beacuse you own one? LET THE SMACK TALKING BEGIN! :D

You might want to post ALL of the facts. You are way off base, Mike is within 6 because of a 10th place in Ft Myers by us, NOT because he missed a pull. You make it sound worse then it was.
Do you know in the last 13 hooks to Keith's sled a dodge has out pulled us 3 or 4 times  & 2 times our truck broke a 4th place & a 10th. Mike has 2 wins in those 13 hooks & He also went to that pull up in fountain only 6 points up. Who gives a **** about points?
I have bigger fish to fry. I have proved time & time & time again what B & B puts out.
I have begged in other threads for somebody to make this pull more then T & T for me. Ask Mike, I was not even coming 2 or so weeks ago, MIKE convinced me to come. I could really care less, just post all the facts.
It will be good for pulling, there will be new winners that can celebrate.
Best of luck to all & no broken parts
I need a Duramax size turbo to compete!
TNRGreene 07-02-2008, 11:03 PM I need a Duramax size turbo to compete!
The lots are full of them :D
Freighttrain 07-02-2008, 11:41 PM It's gonna be real interesting to see how it all pans out. I think Mike is the only Dodge that could have a chance. Breakage can have a big effect on the outcome when points are this close. Then there was the red dodge that won in Ft. Myers. A bunch of hard track's are on the final pulls for the season. It will take power to win.
Ford's? Brent M. Has a nice Ford pull truck and I hope he comes back so it won't be a total Duramax domination:rolleyes:

not at all & after reading it again I can see how you'd make that assumption. You'd have had to been involved the past year to understand it all though. Right now I must be smart with our equipment. There are things going on behind the scenes, that most don't know about. Some of it is internet stuff

I hadn't seen this before. I say yes to the above & here is my thinking below
With all that's been put out I'd say:
Stock turbo- Nikko (experience hooked to the sled may overcome)
2.6- Mike should have everybody covered
Open- If the black dually is ready & it hasn't been in the shop yet. I think experience to Steve.
JMO
solostyle 07-03-2008, 09:12 PM ? for ya. in the open class, can we run a truck with 57" mud tires? they arent dot tires...

TNRGreene 07-03-2008, 10:10 PM I don't know if you are kidding or serious. I'd guess that would be Keith's call, I know his published rules say DOT only. I'd like to see that thing pull though. A 26" hitch may be interesting :D
Freighttrain 07-03-2008, 10:44 PM There is a 136" wheel base rule also.
solostyle 07-04-2008, 12:28 AM i think it fits the 136" rule and it is a diesel but definately not DOT tired. He does wanna pull the sled 1 time just to see what it does.

There is a $5 hook fee for anyone who wants to pull. You dont need to worry about rules or classes. You can pull against UpRight Dave he is pulling the beetle on 66" tires.

Freighttrain 07-05-2008, 01:43 AM there are only 2 truck's that can win the points chase at this point.

PULL-IT-zer PRIZE for best pulling invention of the decade and has not even been put on the market yet! it will be a must have for every puller and the ultimate upgrade for anyone who is still running the extreemly awkward and unforgiving flooger valve!:D

that was all exaimined about how they are independently adjustable. it is a very nice setup but after the last pull how come when i went to go look at it the hitch was about 4 inches below my waist? and i know i am not a midget. i am positive i looked closely. now i see why you said some did not follow rules.
Speaking of Rules, I wished I wouldve know hanging the weight off the front was going to move me up a class! I would've left the weight in the front of the bed and pulled with the other stock trucks. (I had to have an excuse for getting spanked!) Oh well... live and learn!

I stand corrected. Truck is on the trailer still. Top of the ring is 28 & 3/8th. We pulled @ 24" in the class. I loaned my hitch to the truck that pulled second to last in the fans pull. I was in the arena with Moe & James when he reinstalled it in my truck or I don't know, I should say brought it back. The blocks were put up while they were pulling. I was testing the blocks not hitch.
