We can throw a lot of money and time on a truck. If someone gave me a million dollars and said I want to build the badest sled pull truck ever.

I would build 2 trucks. A twin turbo Duramax.
With it's IFS, it would rule on a lot of tracks. The old farmer Cummins days are over and have been for a while, at least in Fl. I would also build a 12 valve gen 1 Dodge with all the ****e and spin it up to get some wheel speed.

I would still loose to the Dmax.
I'm really tired of looking at the raised letters on the tires of the Dodges while they pull. It's really very boring. Can you guy's get those tires spinning?
put a p pump and a girdle and a Lee i'acococola kit on those truck's

Step up Dodge Guy's and make some power................ It so easy for you guy's to do it. Ever try to change a Turbo on a Dmax? We should be so lucky........

man....is this really the same Steve from before? I thought this pulling/drag racing stuff was all about diesels but Im seeing a lot of bashing the dodges and sucking on the d-maxs t!ts. Maybe im taking this talk wrong but thats what im gathering.......

well poor leon didnt want to donate his truck and money untill i just went aheda and found a p-7100 and sent it out. now hes excited!

They have Zellwood with only one class for diesels and they wouldnt be in the points with keith anyway starting so late so running the class 3-4 more times will be what it takes to get the truck right and have some fun. Once done we plan on traveling with a few trucks. They are putting a 2.6 turbo on it and would be close to making the rules which they dont know yet. The only problem in the 2.6 class they may have is the pump being from a different year.

na. its just a great place to be. well worth the drive. great buncha people, very inviting. nice track. just a GREAT place to spend the day and pull!!:nod:

That is Chris Watson's old truck "Still Smokin'". Started life with a Ford body. Awesome truck indeed.
