Here is a link to www.clementsvillems.com (http://www.clementsvillems.com/index.html). They have the least refined diesel class yet have some of the most competitive diesel events. They use their own pull-back (pulled back to start line by a tractor, not under it's own power) sled that is considered to be heavy as it's heavy and harder to start off with. Its not a "drag race" sled like most modern sleds.

Like I said, the rules for Clementsville's diesel class are the least refined and pretty much RWYB with the only rules being 8500lbs and 26" hitch height. Everything else goes including nitrous, water/meth, propane, multiple turbos, etc.

Good!! Come on!! The more the merrier. The guys that run with this group are fairly laid back and have a pretty good time. Just an FYI, there are some trucks that are highly modified and quite capable of competing in 2.8 and 3.0 classes elsewhere that pull with Clementsville so it takes a fairly stout truck to go and come home with some money in the pocket. Just thought I'd let you know.

Another note that may or may not be all that important. Payouts aren't always real big. Just don't come expecting to take home much money even if you do win. They DO give out trophies or plaques with the checks though. Some folks like the trophies while others would just as soon start a camp fire with one. :D

Also, truck setup is absolutely crucial with this sled. I have seen way more than once where lower powered trucks win because they figured out how to setup their truck properly for this type of sled. It's not the same as setting up for a drag race style sled.

Let me know if you are coming to some of these though. I like to meet others.
