Just bought a red and gray 94 standard cab 4x4.. The same guy has owned it since 97, and it looks great for it's age.. If I had my choice, it would have been a longer truck. He had reciepts for over 3 grand for his paint job a couple years ago.. Wouldn't you know today it got it's first blemish.. :frusty: It's smaller than a dime, and that's the only flaw on the body. It's also a complete stocker from intake, to exhaust tip.. Not for long.. How long do I have until the next pull? :D

The Dodge is less expensive to build. The Duramax will pull every dollar bill out of your pocket, but if done right, with a B&B state of compassion, it will be hard to beat on a sled pull track.

If I had 30 thousand to put in a Dodge right now, it would be hard to beat. If I had 40 thousand to put in a D'max it would be impossible to beat.

Oh, i guess I already did that..........

Keep going Guy's. I'm, a has been. I will be back, but on a lot lessor scale.

The next time it will be fun. I don't care if I'm beat. I really enjoy being at the pulls and having a good time. Thats what it's all about. I'm glad you guy's share the same passion.

Peace

Mine will be super low buck. As you, I've spent tons of money on diesels. With this, I just want to get back to basics. I may be able to get away with a total of $350 in power upgrades. The tranny seems ok, but I'm going to have to modify it a little to make it live..

8 sec duramax

Check out his new project camroa powered duramax. Im sorry it hasnt hit the 8's yet its steal at fleece performance getting built. Brands goal for the red 06 was 12's he went beyond that with all of his goals for pickups. He said he wants 10's outta this project i see 6's but that will be a little longer down the road:D
