its hard to make the pulls when your 6.0 is sitting in the shop for warranty work!!:D

Good question. The 6.0 has issues, just like the Dodges and the D'max.
We have some tough tracks to pull on and it take's a lot of set-up and power to win.
The Ford's have the dreded front-end shake (D'max Tow-in) and the Dodges have a real problem creating enough wheel speed to get the sled moving at half track (except you, Mike) good job Mike, winning at the last pull. I have never figured out how Mike Peters pull's so well. He's got a set-up.

Forget Horsepower and putting a lot of power adders on your truck.

Work on the cheap stuff...........Tire pressure, weight distribution, gear selection, and don't forget to pick a good pull spot on the track.

If you can hook to the sled and drive your truck to the best spot's on the track, you can add feet to your pull.

Spend more time, track side. Take notes..........Damn, It ain't that complicated.

i dont know what you pointing out by modified internals?are you accusing people?dont be scared of a 6.0 its just a 6.0 ! i think that if we can get it to hook it may be something special. and just for somebodys info who was accusing........the motor has all stock components...pistons, rods, and whatever else. next time if you have questions and yopu want answers just call me . its not hard to do . i aint gona lie to you . dont call other people looking for answers! and you know who you are. oh, by the way , what did ya'll think about the wheel of fortune? maybe one day the clue will change.

I was NOT talking about the 6.0 with my post. You have been up front about that truck. You can't find anybody though that I called looking for answers about anything built over there, oh ya I did talk to Mike about where he was getting hitch parts a few months back. I gave him my source that I thought was cheaper & that was that.
However you may be suprised who has called me. Also I am NOT the tech guy, it really doesn't matter what I say or think. I don't dwell or care what others are doing, I can't control that. After after all this I just reread what I said before...I said turbos with modded..oops I'm sorry I guess you just kinda admitted to that but I wasn't talking about the Ford. Sorry I wasn't accusing you. Your throwing stones the wrong way. I made a STATEMENT you want the definition between statement & accusing. I did not accuse anybody of cheating or anything.

It has the same turbo for 53000 miles. The exact way it came from Red Hoagland. I do not have a modified but I have been told others do. I'm happy, no complaints my stock turbo holds it's own. Not another diesl truck that pulls with Keith has ever been torn down mine has & it passed. Like I said in my post I can not afford one.

dont call me definsive. that is not right , all i've been seeing is duramax's dominate over and over again. the MICHIGAN MADNESS winner get beat and im the bad guy and all my comments that were all in fun because i thought that is what this whole thing is about are turned around on me and im an aarogant a$$ as said in past posts. well lets return to some past posts then.... as said i think it was that someone was not going to show up then they decided to show up just to test some motor and tranny files. maybe that was backup just incase they did not win? just asking questions about all the talking io saw before the event and what i see after.dont take it rude , im just stating how i took what i saw and read... call me wrong , call me right . go back and read all these posts , because i know i have and thats why i said what i did.

If I could run a stock Dmax turbo I would too. Those things are amazing! But my wallet keeps me in an old outdated, much smaller one!
