I have made 60+ hooks to the sled, over 12 runs at the drag strip not counting all street races, power breaking for at least 3-4 minutes at a time for good smoke shows, draging trucks and mobile homes for miles in sugar sand, races out back at the GDP strip, pulling my 32' 5th wheel RV, and one race against another dodge cummins with our 5th wheels hooked up:D. My dodge has 81,000 miles on it so I thought it was time for a new transmission. Tim Jr the tranny man just called to say my still stock transmission was in great shape did I still want him to rebiuld? It was the suncoast convertor slipping that is only 9 months old and still under warranty. What does it take to kill a dodge?

I know I'm asking for it again but I do have to here from time to time that the cummins is a good motor by the rest of the truck isn't near the quality of a ford or a gm.

Did he find out why you had to wait on the fluid? I was just curious as to what would cause that.

I bet its a bad check valve in the heat exchanger!

I would start with boggers, 2xcp3's, BFI's and a big single charger:D

Take these twice a day for 8 weeks and see if you can break something:pound:

What does it take to kill a dodge?

'04.5 Common Rail - low miles - 1 sled pull.
I run an edge w/juice w/a hot file and a quadzilla boost fooler. I was putting out 58psi stock turbo and a shot of water/meth.

Then i dropped a valve seat and blew my motor!:help

58lbs of boost on a stock turbo + water/meth= Carnage?

Can't stack a boost fooler with edge. Edge has a boost fooler built in and you get about 41 lbs of boost. Disconnect edge for the quadzilla and you will get 30+lbs of boost. I know I tried many combos. 58lbs stock?:pound:

YES it was a dent in a medal line that allowed fluid to pass on the outside of it. It was in the new valve body. It took 7 minutes in netural before you could drive. $5 fix.
