Thanks to Eric (sledpuller500) for the idea, and the hitch. Thanks to Rob for bringing his "slugger" and helping on the project. The new ring setup is at Rob's shop now being welded up.

Sweet setup! but forgive me for asking what is the point of the 2 recievers? Are you gonna weld two tubes to the pulling hitch for extra stength?

I love those sluggers, I use them all the time at work when drilling out broken bolts on undercarriage

That is the way the hitches are built. It is a "super hitch". Used to pull a camper or boat off a long extension, 36" or so, and a bike rack off the other. They are rated for stupid weight, and it was free ;)

If I remember they are about $1200. At that price I would buy 2 that way you have a replacement ready.
