We gave the crowd there monies worth.

tusker 08-10-2008, 08:48 PM Congrats to all, Thanks for the show.
Get this,
I was gonna pull until I walked into the arena to ask if I was to late to pull, I was standing there when I overheard the owner telling who I think was 02freighttrain? if they didn't like it go pull somewhere else  unbelieveable :frusty: :( He then went on to complain about all the hassles with the diesel guys. Man he seems to hate diesel guys :frusty: Is this normal the norm with this azz? I've seen it before in the midwest, they hated us diesels until they figure out the just wanted to pull a sled.
I just went up & watched as I will continue to because I LOVE pulling
TNRGreene 08-10-2008, 08:51 PM
You should have found me & said hi it's been a while  I thought that might have been your truck but I only saw it once.

I whistled & waved at you. You were standing in between an Orange bronco & an OBS stepside Chevy in the arena with a guy much taller then you.
Know when the next pull is?

Sorry, Didn't realize that was you. That was Sean, Steve's nephew
I'll have to ask, don't remember date but it's in Wauchula
TNRGreene 08-10-2008, 09:19 PM Know when the next pull is?
September 6th, Wauchula is what is on Keith's site
Freighttrain 08-10-2008, 10:01 PM Diesel trucks are so different from the gassers. A non-legal turbo can be worth 300 hp. This could be an unfair advantage for people who are trying to stay in "The spirit" of the rules.
I think this is why all the diesel guy's are on edge about some serious inspection at the pulls. We need a tech person and rules.........yesterday
Tusker: didn't see you..........you should have pulled your truck.
PM me when you have time.
MoPower05 08-11-2008, 07:27 AM Any video? Forgot mine at the house should have it up by tuesday.

all i have to say is you did not know the hole story and if i want to tell you something i'll say it face to face (my words not someone telling me what to say but i think we are fine now and we love all trucks to pull deisel or gas as long as they all have fun and get along without talking behind each other's backs so don't put words in my mouth and as for being a ass at least i do it face to face so lets just stop at this point and have fun pulling or watching witch ever you want

I'll give you that I may not know the whole story but I know what I heard, you even said it twice. "If they don't like it they can ******* go up north & pull" or close to that, I was shocked you said it with that many people there listening. Sounds to me that you needed to be a bad*** in front of some gas guys, I recognise some diesel guys & the only 1 that was there was 02? I assume most of the others where from the gas class? You come here & lay a challenge down that's a joke. While I've only been to Wauchula,Desota, Across from ranger stadium in ponta gorde? and ft. Myers. Ft Myers was a sand pit & the worse looking track of the bunch. The track guys worked had there. Not sure what I misunderstood there...? Maybe you missed the part that I had just walked up & was standing there, nobody is telling me what to say. Calling the diesel guys crybabies, I heard you refer to the gas guys as yours at least 3 times just while I was there. No bias there :frusty:
This is not the place to put this out, you may be kidding but I know what I heard
TNRGreene 08-12-2008, 11:24 AM I edited the above post for language. WE need to be repectful of others. Please watch the langauge :)

first of all, hes not an ass, second of all, when you have ur own show & ppl want to come in after youve been doing it for 12yrs & tell u this is the rules, & the classes they want to run (and you let them), but w/i 2 yrs time they run off the 30+ diesel trucks that we used to have at every pull, soo obviously things neeed to change, so now some ppl are mad b/c were going back to our own rules for next year... It is definately not a "we hate diesels" thing, it is about making our show better and hopefully getting back some of the ppl that used to be there every month that no longer come to pull
this is a hobby to a lot of ppl, but it is a business to us and we need to do what is best for our business :)
but if you have any ?? You can call him at 239-340-4020
Freighttrain 08-12-2008, 07:59 PM Tusker, you might need to pull in spite of your opinions. If you make all the effort to come to the pulls and then leave without pulling, it is your loss.
Sorry, but it is what it is. We will all be on the same page someday. We need every puller we can get now. With the downturn in the economy all the classes are suffering. Most of the diesel guy's are in the construction trades,
I don't need to tell you how hard it is to make payments on trucks now, much less, tearing them up at a pull.
I hope you come to the next pull...........Look me up.....Leave the politics in the parking lot.
