I have a 1965 v8 mack semi naturally aspirated and surpirsly light. I have a body for a 94 dodge. I will have a set of super single 16 inch wide boggers on the back with a 5 ton rockwell axle. It has unverisal the size of Todds driveshaft cover  Im hoping to put a old school allison tranny out of a bus behind the 8 speed It will not happen over night i just wanted to let yall no a little bite about whats going on. I may make a couple test hooks with her and try her out but dont be looking for anything amazing until its done. Hopefully some of yall can tell me what to go ahead and get for this truck so when its together its done and done right. This will be a full time pull truck. 8,000 pounds 2 wheel drive and 26" hitch height. If i cant compete i will throw a divorced unit and a 2.5 out front. But i will be very lucky if its done anytime soon. Im estimating around 1.5 to 2 years.

Kurt, I can not speak for SFTP as to where you would fit in. Keith may allow it is what I am saying. However after reading pages & pages of other organizations rules. You may be building an exibition truck only  I am trying to get as many rules on the site so it's a "one stop" pulling site. I would love to see it pull, just make sure you have a venue to use it at. I know you have talked about traveling a little, make sure you fit is all I'm saying.
