You want your hooking point 26". The rule is 26" lower is allowed but a disadvantage.

This is true most of the time. We pull between 22 to 24" That is what our truck likes

4 diesel classes:

1) Stock turbo(or turbos if stock on 2008 and newer fords), no hanging weights, reese hitch in stock location. (for the everyday driver that is trully driven)

2) Hanging weights, turbo may not exceed a 2.6 inducer, I believe you can have a pulling hitch,(this will be the main diesel class for most of us).

3) This will be the Outlaw class. Large turbos or twins, nos, etc.

4) If needed this will be the Heavy class. Any trucks that cant make weight.

This is off memory of what Keith told me about a month ago. Said he would get it posted on his site.

Never needed anymore than this anywhere else, so I never bothered over the summer. Looks like I am out, no way I can make them up this week, just too busy. :nerd:

Well, I never got the trailer unloaded, got a pinball machine, big screen, and alot of our household furniture, etc. in it. I won't make it with the pulling truck, but probably will ride out to watch and lend a hand where needed.

Yes had a good time. It was a good night for GDP. We had one break a rear drive shaft and one a turbo. Not sure whats wrong with my truck, think my batteries are going bad. Smarty couldnt finish kept saying error and every idiot light on my dash is staying on. I drove it home so we could trailer the dodge with the blown turbo. It was nice to meet 1JP.
