and I'll be out of this crap. Last weekend we had two feet of the white crap and by Tuesday it was basically all gone. It even got up into the 50's. Now, it's not even 15 and a little more of this stuff fell today, calling for more this weekend. I cannot wait to leave the land of the white stuff :D

Humidity? Are you sure? All the Florida trucks I see are rust free including mine! Dont know how bringing it to Florida actually caused it to rust. Dont they rust out up north from the Salt used to melt the snow!?!?

did yers com from a salt environment....mine either..rust free. seems like the humidity reacts with the salt o matter how good ya clean it.
i also bought a 70 gtx from arizona..completely rust free car from the desert..w/in 3 yrs down here it rusted all over the qtr panle lowers and around the rear window..car never seen any snow and i dont live near the water so....get off me man.....aint you got a tranny to build or somehting ya post whore

Our State stopped using salt and went to the more highly corrosive calcium chloride mix. They pre-treat the highways before a storm with the liquid version and when it's snowing they use the crystallized version. Most of the towns and cities still use the salt sand mix... In either case it's like driving into the ocean and driving around for a bit...the stuff is NASTY! :mad:
