: Truxxus STS
fordt 01-16-2009, 11:13 AM I bought a set of new 33X12.50X16 STS tires on the black "rockcrawler" rims. Will be here Mon/Tues next week.
Figured I am going to try them out at Inverness. My boggers won't be here until the 30th, from PA. Alot of guys are running the STS up north, figured Inverness is the closest to a Northern track I can think of, so why not. If nothing else, they are supposed to have good road manners.
6.0superduty 01-16-2009, 06:21 PM I have heard a lot of good things about the sts for pulling and road use. I wanted to try them, just didnt have the money yet. Hope they work for ya!
kydmaxpuller 01-16-2009, 06:38 PM there awesome tires on alota different type tracks but work best as a pulling tire only they seem to be a little soft for the road and wear pretty quick

I don't have it yet :D Coming from Cali & he didn't ship it when he was supposed to. I've been at the fair non stop this week. I'll let you know when I get it though.

fordt 01-18-2009, 02:52 PM They should bolt right up to your Dodge, assuming the backspacing doesn't throw a wrench into it.

That is what I have heard, I refuse to drive them on the road, because of this.

They are not directional.

They are a great tire and still have lots of tread. I used them at the drag strip and at the pulls. They were the most aggressive all terrain tire I could find. I just bought a set of 35x17 STS tires and wheels so I don't need the 33's any more. The reason for the change is because I built my motor and now need more grip. The Weld wheels were a lot of money and I will take offers for the package deal. $1250? The rims have a couple of nicks from the tire install, but when I polish them up you hardly can tell. Call me if you want at the shop during the day 800-776-7102. I will send out pictures if you like. I will be at TS and will be glad to deliver them there.
