1) What type of track should you spool up the most?
2) What type of track should you not spool or spool very little?

Now that is the question :D

The top runners (Diesel), always spool there trucks. The question of how much, is truck dependent.
I think the sooner you can get wheel speed (regardless of the track type)
the farther you will pull.

The debate of packing a lot of dirt on the sled early in the pull will have little bearing on the distance you pull.

If you get the sled rolling quickly, early, You should pick the sled up and the packed dirt wil go under the pan.

My advice is, spool your truck til you can't hold it and let'er rip.

I also am a firm believer in spooling, wheel speed is critical and like Steve said the quicker the sled gets moving the farther the pull.

I believe the difference in guys that spool up and blow the tires off the line and the guys that spin and hook up comes down the right tire for the track, truck setup and last but I belive the most important is air pressure
