OK.. Lets try this again.. Hopefully they'll run this time.. Should be warm enough for them.. There will be several of us going.. I'll make the first passes with the new Garmon trans, Cody will have his silver truck there with a new turbo/injectors, and I'm sure atleast Bobby and Dave will be there also.. We usually show up by 7, but many don't get there until 8 or 8 30.. It would be nice just to hang out with everyone.. Gary, Mike, Todd, Steve come hang out if you can..

I would like to come over to watch, we have to be at Deanco Equipment Auction Friday, so I may not make it. :cool:

By the way I broke more just driven my truck on the street then just a ujoint pullin a sled and I would love to Drag race some more but it seems every time I plan to go the people at the track are like it's to cold or something it's not like that when we go sled pullin. when the truck is done we'll bring it out let see what it has now :D

It was good to see some diesels out last night. Dave ran 12.48, Bobby ran 12.6 or .7, Cody was there with a program impaired 04 and ran a 13.1.. Nick D. was there and knocked off a 12.49 with his dmax, and the black 06 down by Eddie ran a 13.02 if I remember correctly. Did someone break last night? Mine drove there, and drove away for a change.. :D It pulled an 11.52 on diesel only. The time was right where I wanted it, but the mph was off.. Shooting for 11.3x next time out on diesel only.. Then remove some weight after that.. Then maybe a little spray.. :damnit

Brad is the fastest fuel only non benched 160 that I've found.. He ran 11.31. Matt Wells has been 11.40.. I'd like to run faster than the 11.31 on fuel only before (and if) I spray it.. Matt and Brad have actually been trying to help get this thing faster... Matt did my tuning, and Brad shared some info with me that I'll try next thursday. Matt is building twins right now using two new turbonetics chargers.. His goal will be 10.99 with them, so I need to make a killer pass before he's finished.. haha.. Bobby Copeland has helped me out more than you could imagine on this thing.. I need to start mentioning him in every post I make.. :D He knows my trans well..

He did, it is, so far.

Trying to run without torque management on anything but a built tranny means tranny death.. A stock tranny will be toast. A built tranny will break the shafts. You have to have the complete package with billet.. I broke the output in my 05 the first time I tried it.. If you skimp on the tranny, it will cost you much more in the long run.. It's best to wait and save if you can't do it all at one time.. I'm sorry to hear anyone had breakage..

Get you facts straight before you start making assumptions. 4r100s are not crap trannys. The converter is. I have no complaints on mine. 153000 miles on it. With just a half ass converter, running the piss out of it. With hundreds of launches. Injectors finally took its tole. Dodges have weak stock trannys. But honestly none of the fords around make near the power as the dodges to do the kind of tranny carnage thats been done.

Here we go again.. There should be a few of us there.. I believe I added a little fuel to it today.. I'm hoping it will drop a couple tenths on diesel only.. If it does in fact have more fuel, I'm gonna spray a little to see what kinda number she'll put down.. Hopefully it won't find another weak link.. I'm shooting for a 10.anything.. More than likely, it will be in the 11.2-11.3 range though..
