There is more info over there because TDG is so much bigger, and TPP is just starting in comparison. In the same time period wouldn't TPP have similar info on these topics? In what ways would this benifit TPP long term by being linked. Just want more information before I vote.
Thanks.

Mike I don't think TPP could have gotten the info that some of us are craving. It would take forever, It's sitting @ TDG for use. Sharing local things are alright & will be here. You can vote anyway you want, I'm not trying to sway that. Just trying not to recreate the wheel

Mike, Thanks for asking questions, it shows you care about the future of the site, and that is great!
True, TDG is about 4 years old, so obviously there should be more info on it. TDG was also started during what I consider a pivotal moment. TDS was starting to crack down on EGR removal threads on their site. TDG was the safe haven that was given for that kind of talk. This brought the Powerstroke guys over, which created content the eventually led to Dodge and GM. While GM has never really "taken" off on the site, Ford and Dodge have. Much of the Dodge section's popularity I thnk needs to be credited to the Moderators for keeping the conversation's going in the early years. Guys like Bouncer (Bill) can honestly say they built that section with their own hands.
I have no issues with keeping the technical engine and general drivetrain forums here. It just needs to be known that it will take alot of work to get them going, it can be done, but it won't be as easy as it was for us at TDG, because our members that started that site needed somewhere to go, TDS was no longer welcoming them.
I have already placed a link on TDG's main forum page next to sled pulling, this will bring in many members that will be able to give and receive information from their experience and thoughts from all over the country and Canada.

Good enough I'm sure if you and Todd have talked about this then it must be best way to do it. Sound good I'm in.
