8,000 Super Street Diesel (single turbo only)
6,200 Super Street Gas
6,200 Modified Gas
8,500 Street 4x4 (open to gas & stock turbo diesel)

Purse for Diesel Trucks:
1st-$300
2nd-$200
3rd-$100
4th-$50
5th-$50

Diesel Truck Rules:
-driver must have valid drivers license
-8,000 lbs
-26" hitch height
-max tire height 35"
-single turbo only (twin trucks can pull out of competition)
-solid rear suspension & hanging weights allowed, any added weight not hanging must be secured in bed
-driveshaft loops, u-joint covers, air shutoffs requested but not required (will be required @ oakboro for 09 season)
-duallys allowed
-water meth allowed, NO NITROUS OR PROPANE!!!

Street 4x4 Truck Rules:
-must present drivers license & truck registration card
-max weight 8500 lbs
-max tire height 35", please no excessive lift
-open to stock turbo diesel (this will be checked)
-no solid rear suspension, no hanging weight, all added weight must be secure in bed
-duallys allowed
-no water meth, NO NITROUS OR PROPANE!!!

Ok, super street diesel will be 2.8 turbo, dual hpop's & dual cp3's are allowed. The street class will be work stock rules. 1" rear susp travel allowed & no weight racks & stock turbo's required.

Ive heard there will also be a 2.6 class?

Oakboro will offer a 2.6 street diesel class this year yes. But Silk Hope will be 2.8 super street and the 2.6 trucks are welcome to pull in super street. Have you heard many details on our blazing meeting thursday night???

Bump, we had 1 powerstroke & 1 common rail in the super street class last night. Same classes, same purse for tonight, we start @ 7pm. WE NEED MORE TRUCKS!!!!
