This past Sunday. The dyno for some reason or other wasn't reading the diesel trucks properly. Roy had a problem with this before, contacted the dyno company and he had to purchase a different part. Apparently it wasn't working correctly, so he'll be making another phone call. Really nice people down there and Roy will be letting us know when he has the problem fixed to head back down to Aftermath Performance Gasoline Alley for another go at it :thumb: :thumb:

That was the problem, they didn't read right. I do remember them hitting 9000rpm's though :D

I'm sure they put just about anyone on that dyno, just give the place a call. The number is in the first pic on the screen of the dyno. Again, he needs to get the problem solved before he puts another pickup on the dyno. So, who knows when that problem will be straightened out. It's all on the dyno company now for answers.

Dynos are a tuning tool only. They can be manipulated by the driver :eek: True HP #'s are at the strip...using ET & mph. It seems as the 3 best diesel dynos maybe in the country are Dunbar, Hucksdorf & Mad dogs old dyno. If not the best at least the most consistant

As said earlier, dynos are mostly a tuning tool.. Picking up an RPM on a diesel is something many places have trouble with. They usually get the hp, just not the torque..
