There is a huge difference between talking **** & facts. FACT, Ft Myers is the worse track on your schedule. It is what it is a rodeo arena. It is what you have to work with no bash on you or crew. You guys do a great job with what you are working with. Everybody will complain behind your back yet go back..not me. I was up front and said after the **** from last year, we would only pull Waucula & DeSoto, maybe Arcadia. I spend MY money where I chose to spend it. I posted on another board that probably after Smokin we won't be pulling anymore. Due to the recent events at TS with dumbass drunks I chose NOT to subject my family to this anymore. If/when we hook it will be somewhere that appreciates us being there.

Your pulls are tuning into beer parties that a pull happens at...again FACT!

There is no room for a drunk driver @ a motor sports event...again FACT!

This site was created to promote YOUR pulls & all you do is bust my ass....oh another FACT!

I saw that too:confused:

Heard he was DQ'd for turbo size, guess that means he will be in outlaw here  Also heard quite a few 2.6 trucks were moved to 2.8 because of inlet tube size  2 others were not allowed to hook because their cross bolts were in the exhaust approx where the passengers feet were.

There are some real suprises in the field.
#11- tow truck, stock bottom end John Kennedy is not a puller
Jerrod- just finished the truck Friday in time to leave. Had some tuning issues
Matt- Explained by the video, he was on a run
Wesley, Justin, Tye, Chambers & Levi- no distances

 2 others were not allowed to hook because their cross bolts were in the exhaust approx where the passengers feet were.

The rule for the cross bolts were they couldn't be rear of the front passenger seat. Some people were even moving there front seat back as far as possible in order to pass.

The rule for the cross bolts were they couldn't be rear of the front passenger seat. Some people were even moving there front seat back as far as possible in order to pass.

I understand what they said AFTER everyone was there but the rule as posted is:
Exhaust:
All vehicles must be equipped to direct exhaust upward. Two 3/8 inch diameter bolts must be placed through the exhaust pipe in a cross pattern within one inch of each other as close to the turbo as is practical.

No mention of rear of passenger seat on CompD where the above rule was posted. Not arguing with you Mike but this leaves a lot of wiggle room. Sucks a few of these trucks were @ Schieds and they were legal there  I was told they may have been culling the herd as not to have the pull run until noon on Sunday

I was told they may have been culling the herd as not to have the pull run until noon on Sunday

If that was the case then what they need to do next year is to tech in early and after there are teched then you would have a faster event in stead of right be for they pull then after the pull tech them if they are like top 10 or so that would make it so much faster. :damnit:damnit:damnit:damnit:damnit

I say let them all run. Tech them when they are done. As the pull goes on only tech the ones that are in the money. Then there would be no delays.

**DISCLAIMER** This is my personal opinion, my views are not that of the Pulling Place.
There is a HUGE difference between drunk & drinking. Apparently you missed the part of "dumbass drunks" in my post. I also said there is no room for "drunk drivers" Where did I say no alcohol @ events? That is not up to me to decide if the organization allows it. Zellwood does not have a no alcohol policy like some of Keith's arenas do ( I know Wauchula does, as does DeSoto in the pits not sure of FT Myers) I liked Pt Charlotte when they served alcohol, the crowd was funny but I draw the line at driving drunk as does the law. Do not try to put words in my mouth I never said there is no room for alcohol at these pulls but being drunk at them & driving is a problem!!!!!!!!!!!!! This could end up like TS or worse some dumbass is going to ruin it for everybody...hmm expensive fact
I can assume you agree since you only 1/2 way disputed 1 of my statements :D
It sure would be interesting to have a civil discussion as to Policies & Procedures when renting an arena & insurance. Not that I want to know Keith business but what is expected of the participants could be really enlightning.
But what do I know?
