If the hitch angle was close to 30 degrees, the diff cover shouldn't see much load at all. If the angle is 15 degrees, I would say the diff is seeing about 50% of what the draw bar pull is.

There is few thoughts of reasoning to have the weight out front on a 4x4.

1. The rear end of the truck is light, so having the weight out front helps the front axle pull harder to get the ground...

Unfortunately no. The guy that bought it stayed to the brush pulls due to him liking to run N20.

It's not a stock cover. It has a 1/2" thick flange, and the rest is 1/4" thick plate.
