smartys are great. edge is ................ok...... but everyone has their opinions, just gotta play with it.

the smarty has its place. like i told dave..w/o it the truck wont launch. the torque management overrides and its like a revlimiter.
i need to try the edge by itself and the smarty by itself.

do ya think it couldve been too much timing running em both full on?? would too much timing slow me down?? i have no idea how much either box adds to a vp truck

your 60ft times are extremely slow....you sure the smarty helps you launch? My dually's 60ft were 2.4-2.5's and thats with 0-2psi boost and releasing a clutch. Your truck is the 1st 2ndgen dodge that i have seen with the smarty. I just have never been a real fan of the smarty. Again, thats my opinion. I know sometimes you stack 2 and they work against each other.

unless its too much timing. cuz w/o it the truck sputters til it rolls out in first. torque mangement sucks

i agree. smartys on a 98.5-02 24v aint the best..... i agree with dave, edge comp drag is damn good, or the quadzilla adrenaline like josh has.

ive seen a few dodges like yours with the smarty. alone or stacked . the tst seems to be a good stack with that year truck. the torque management can be fixed so it will not sputter anymore. it just takes some adjusting. ive fixed it on trucks before and i dont see why i cant do it on yours.

i have the edged with smarty and i love it. you just have to use the smarty on the fuel only settings. dont use fuel and timing setting when you stack it with the edge. the edged adds timing on all the setting.
