No first gear.

After putting in the new motor in my silver 2005, 7-10 days the transmission started shifting funny. At first trans temp light sometimes flashes on and sometimes with the chime. The trans temp sometimes was cold still. It would act up between 3rd and 4th. The tow haul light also would ficker on and off during this, so I replaced the govner solenoid and transister in the pan. Great! problem solved. But ever since there has been no first gear. Transmission place said they bypassed the ECU and transmission works fine. Last night I put my other ECU back in and still no first gear. How do I solve this? Anyone ever seen this?

Is there a check box when having the tranny rebuilt?

Would you rather have Overdrive ( X) or 1st gear( )?

Have you tried a voltage regulator? or governor pressure sensor?

Trannys fine thats the problem. Cant fix what aint broke. It is an electical problem since the new motor. This transmission hasnt been rebuilt still stock.
